Have you heard the term Pinterest VIP Week or Pinterest VIP Day and wondered what that service is? Well, this blog is going to explore what is included in a Pinterest VIP Wek and why it might be exactly what you need for your online business.
Before we dive in, what is Pinterest? Pinterest is often thought of as being a go place for a new chicken dinner idea for the family, a new cute summer hair cut, interior design ideas for your dream home and cute fashion ideas. However, a Pinterest Business Account is a powerful marketing tool that yes is different than your Pinterest account you keep personally.
It’s not a social media platform, it’s a visual search engine, think more like Google and less like Instagram. Using Pinterest for marketing can help you attract dream clients, increase your website traffic, fill your funnels and email lists, and have you passively marketing your business more easily than most other platforms.
It is not an overnight fix, or will make you insane money the day you start. It’s a slow long term marketing platform that takes time to build and grow trust with Pinterest and your website content.

Who is a Pinterest VIP week for?
A Pinterest VIP is ideal for any online business owner (blogger, coach, online service provider) who wants to increase the traffic to their website. You want to get more people into your world. This could mean filling your offers, loading up your email list, selling digital products, or just getting website traffic for that sweet ad revenue!
To begin your Pinterest Marketing journey with VIP Week you need to own your own website, this means having a website that is your own (not Instagram as your website, or a business website that you have one URL for). As well, you need to have long-form content, you cannot just have sales pages and landing pages.
You need to have a spot on your site (likely the blog) where you provide long-form value to your audience and help them solve their problems. As well, it’s ideal (not mandatory) to have a setup place to catch your audience if you want to nurture and sell to folks. This could be an email list, membership pages, social media pages…etc.
To recap:
– a website you own
– long-form content (can be a blog)
– a place to collect your people (if you want to sell directly to clients/ customers)

Key Components of a Pinterest VIP Week
So what is covered in our VIP week together? Well, a VIP week is literally everything you need to know to manage your own account. This week starts with a kick-off call that is dedicated to me understanding your level of Pinterest knowledge. This helps me tailor all my training videos and documents specifically to your knowledge level. As well we also cover what you’d like to learn about so I can ensure we cover all the areas needed.
During this VIP service it’s tailored to teaching you everything you need to know about your own Pinterest management. So this includes how to make pins about blog posts, how to create pins, creating boards, Pinterest seo, Pinterest profile set up, reviewing your analytics, doing keyword research, learning how to use Pinterest’s scheduler tool and trends tool. This is great to reach you the right ways to manage your Pinterest the first time. Instead of guessing and thinking you’re on the right track without knowing. It helps you get the best results faster!
You will get a video tutorial of each lesson. At the end of the week you also get templates, keyword bank documents and we have a strategy call to wrap up the week. This focuses on the next 3 months and the steps you’re going to take to grow your Pinterest presence. After the 3 months, we have a bonus strategy call where we review what the past 3 months have been like and create a plan to grow your account.
After our VIP Week
Once our week concludes and you have a big list of stuff to review, don’t worry I don’t leave you high and dry! You get 21 days of Slack support. Where I can pop into your account and review, and audit your work, made additional videos if you need more clarification and overall support you as you learn! This helps you feel confident with learning the next level of seo and helps keep you accountable to learning!

Tips to get the most out of your VIP Week
Here are some common tips I provide to folks to get the most out of their VIP Week! Pick a VIP Week that falls before you have open space in your calendar. What I mean is let’s say your VIP Week is August 1st – 8th, try to plan for August 9-15 you have a fairly open week. Why? This allows your to dig into your content while it’s fresh, review all the videos and trainings I’ve provided and get me providing you real time feedback and support as you learn.
The power of SEO is strongest when you continue after an account set up which also helps to keep the ball rolling. After our week together I usually hear from service providers (OSP’s) that they have a long list of things they want to create a such as blogs, and freebies now that they understand Pinterest. So giving yourself time to plan those, and get those ideas out (and maybe to fruition) can help as well.
Remember you have 21 days after our VIP week concludes so ensure to utilize that time to ask as many questions as you have! After our support time concludes, I would recommend putting time in your calendar weekly to work on your Pinterest. This is a great time to ensure it takes priority in your calendar and doesn’t fall into a time slot that will be forgotten! You can even do a single day a month to dedicate to your Pinterest if you’d like, whatever works best of your business.
